Guitar - My Passion
Guitar - One of my biggest passion of my life, started at the age of 10. I was always influenced by the lovely melodies created by guitar strings, and always wished If I had a guitar with me, I would have done this, I would have done that; And all those dreams in my eyes came to face at the age of 15 on the day when I took the guitar in my hands for the first time at one of my cousin's home. It was really a wonderful experience to me. I went on playing it even not knowing how to hold it! Ha Ha! Just like a silly amateur! My fingers were just strumming over the guitar strings but still I tried for any meaningful note I would play on it. Amazingly, these were the words of my cousin:
" Hey! Did you've played guitar anywhere before?" I replied in a confused manner, thinking why he's asking like that:"No! But why??"
He replied:"Seemed you've played before! But if you've not, then you should learn it coz’ Im sure that you have something special which can make you learn it even by your own. For the way you're strumming the strings is not like an ordinary amateur!"
Those words boosted in me a kind of energy or you can say a 'Passion' for learning that instrument. After that, my journey began into the magical world of guitars. I started acquiring the theoretical knowledge of guitars through internet and books, trying to understand the concepts of chords.
I was 17. But still I didn't had my own guitar to practice and learn, but the good thing was that I started playing keyboards at that time, for my church, which not only made me understand the chord concepts but I got a good control over keyboards as well. After getting a good command over chords through the synthesizer, I was ready to commit the step to finally take the thing in my hand and ultimately, I got an electric guitar by way of my church to play it for them at the time of occasions. I take it as one of the biggest gift of my life as it made my dream come true, and that moment I'll cherish the whole of my life.
I used to play the Guitar for the MGOCSM Unit of the church, which is operated by the youths and students of the church. I play it during the special occasions like Conferences and meetings, etc, were it proved to be the most powerful centre of attraction and interest among the youths, and eventually gave me a little musical image! Thanks to my Guitar-passion!
In my graduation days, after a little argument with my parents, I finally got my own Guitar after a long five years' waiting and that was one of the memorable moment of my life. Now the power was in my hand. I used to dedicate at least two to three hours of my day, learning the guitar, exploring the secret of music through it.
I did many performances in the instrument as live, and each of them was memorable for me as every moment taught me a new thing, every time. Guitar has given me a lot of things which I would never got without it, when I was with my friends, sharing happiness and laughter at every moments, also making me the centre of attraction each time. I would like to share an experience... Once I was performing in Bokaro. The song which we performed made a strong impression to the audience there, so they demanded for the song once more. I was playing bass for the song in a non-bass guitar, as we didn’t had one. When we performed for the first time, it was like OK, but when they demanded again for it, my string broke in the mid of the song in the second time. But I kept on playing with other strings, holding the broken string with my fingers, not letting the audience know what had happened. In the end, the string was like hanging with my guitar. Ha ha ha!!! It was really a memorable experience.
Now, more than three years had been passed using the guitar and still there is a lot to explore with it and I always keep on experimenting every time coz’ practice makes a man perfect and it will definitely take much practice and time to master it. I just can’t live without it!
People use to ask me how much time did it took me to learn guitar...!
I just reply with a smile:
"I'm still learning, buddy!" ;)
Dancing
Dancing - It was one of my favorite passions, which started from some of simple Indian classics and reached to Hip-Hops, Breaks, Pops and locks. My first stage performance was at my church in the Christmas Eve Night, at my 15 years age, celebrating the joyous occasion with my people with some dance numbers.
It was my fate only that I didn't much chance to present myself through dance in the stage. In fact, also that although I got opportunities for it but fate didn't allowed me to go through it by making me busy in some other activities. Basically, the best time to have some good performances are said to be at the time of the college days, but unfortunately, there too it didn't worked. For instance, when I was in my first year of graduation, it was our Annual Day and I planned to perform a dance item for it. But unfortunately, I got stuck at that time with my project works and I didn't got spare time for any practice for the dance. I missed it!
Likewise, when I was in my previous year, I was out of the town and again I lost a good chance. My next opportunity was at the time of the Annual Day celebration of my tutorial institute. I was ready at that time. I gave my best… But again the fate was playing hide and seek with me. They people cut my song in the mid due to scarcity of time. Damn! I decided on that day not to dance for others, that's why today I dance only for myself. Ha Ha Ha! Life's hard, man! Well I don't have regrets with it anymore because the best compliment I can ever get for my performances is only and only from myself. Right!
My dancing addiction gone through Michael Jackson's "Moonwalking" to the Poppings, Breaks and Hip-Hops which’s ruling today’s Y-Generation dudes. I have tried each one of them. One experience I would like to share with all that I took around six months to learn the “Moonwalking” trick through different tutorials and videos of Michael Jackson and it’s after six months only I was able to do those steps by my own. This made me a great fan too of him.
Today, in my daily-life, I use to watch different kinds of dances and just trying each one of them, and analyzing the secrets behind it and I’m just lovin’ it… Coz I’m doing it not for anyone… But, For MYSELF.
Multimedia
I use to edit videos, mix audio and sounds and do some artistic creations with images, designs and colors. I polished my skills by learning Web-Designing by way of getting interacted with different softwares and tools. Many videos, short movies, image editings are available in the web, or just check out my ‘Gallery’.
I still remember some of my notorious works which is still popular between my friends of some great morphing works with the help of softwares and also some good sound editings and mixings of movie songs done for many of my friends for their dance performances and some song recordings too, which gave me a lot of happiness and love in return. I am still in this works with the help of different softwares, just trying to utilize my talents and skills in a right way.

Thoughts Collection
"What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.
Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts. But once mastered, no one can help you as much." -Buddha (568 - 488 BC)
I was always inspired by great and prominent personalities, who gave this world a tremendous amount of knowledge and thoughts through many of their wise words which not only changed the meaning of lives of many, but it changed the life itself of a lot.
Whenever I see any thought or line in any books, newspapers or even any walls, I think that these are mere words to us but it mean a lot to our personal, social and even our professional life. I used to collect thoughts since my school days and it became one of my craziest hobbies ever. But as the days passed, the time to collect and write those thoughts became lesser to me because of my other study routines and activities. But each and every those thoughts taught me how people in this world are, and how they are meant to be; making me understand the different aspects of life.
Today, I have around 500 thoughts of different thinkers, leaders and philosophers. Hoping to continue this hobby in future, because who knows, which line will bring out a new meaning to the life.
Movies and Television
Basically, I like to watch all types of movies but the movies which influence me the most are those which have some message in it for the general public. The movie ‘Nayak’ can be a good example of it. A good movie needs a good direction and as such, I love movies of Madhur Bhandarkar which might not have any movie masala in it, but still it has some powerful messages for the whole public, revealing the hidden facades behind many realities. Movies like ‘Traffic Signal’ can be a best example, showing a brilliant art of direction and realistic acting.
As I move to comedy ones, it brings laughter to the life and relaxes the mind from all tensions. Some of my favorite hits were ‘Andaz Apna Apna‘, ‘Munnabhai M.B.B.S.’, Hera-Pheri’, having a good piece of humor and many more…
I rarely watch emotional movies, as it makes me weak and reduces my mental stamina. But still, the most favorite of mine was ‘Sadma’, having the heart-touching acting of one of my favorite actor, Kamal Hassan. It was the first movie in my life which made the tears rolling under my eyes.
What to talk about horrors… It thrills!!! I think, no one else is better than Hollywood movies in case of horrors. It can be said that, in fact, only those people know the art of making people scream…!
If I go further into Hollywood, there’s no end. Everyone knows that they really have that skills which makes a movie a ‘Blockbuster ‘. It is very well evident from the facts that Bollywood and other movie-makers use to copy and remake their concepts to their use. My favorite hits are ‘Terminator-2’, ‘The Matrix’, ‘Bruce Almighty’, ‘Gone in 60 seconds’, ‘The Mask’, ‘Jumanji’, ‘Scream’, ‘Evil Dead’, ‘Baby’s Day Out’, ‘Three Men and a baby’, ‘Titanic’, ‘Gladiator’, ‘Shaolin Soccer’, ‘Ong Bak’, ‘Doctor Dolittle’, ‘The Animal’, ‘Inspector Gadget’, ‘Ace Ventura‘,’The Transformers‘ and all the movies of the great Jacky Chan and many more…
When I move to television shows, most of them are comedy ones including the most popular ‘The Great Indian Laughter Show’. Others includes reality shows like ‘MTV Roadies’, ‘Fear Factor’, ‘Indian Idol’, ‘Repliey’s Believe it or not’; police stories like CID and last but not least some magic shows including ‘David Blaine’s Street Magic’ and Mindfreak’s Criss Angel.
